Getting To Uptown Works
Uptown Works is located at 109 E. Main Street, on the “diamond” in Somerset, PA. Uptown Works is about 1 mile (1.6 km) from local hotels. It is a 15-20 minute walk or a 2 minute drive.
The building is on the northeast corner of the intersection of Center Ave and Main Street
Parking Uptown
There is free 2-hour parking along Main Street and Center Avenue. Visitors spending more than 2 hours at Uptown Works are encouraged to park in the metered lot at the corner of Union and Court Street. The directions below are to that lot.
NOTE: RED parking meters are full-day parking meters, and take dimes (yes, dimes) or quarters. Look for red parking meters. There are also gray 2-hour meters. Metered parking is available throughout the business district, a short distance from Uptown Works. Parking leases are available through Uptown Works in the First Christian Church lot, or through the Borough of Somerset.
From the Turnpike and local hotels to the Union Street parking lot:
Take the turnpike exchange road and make a right turn onto North Center Avenue. Travel 0.8 miles to Union Street and make a left turn. You can find metered parking along Union Street and in the parking lot at the corner of Union and Court. There are also metered parking spaces along Main Street.
